Pumpkin Carving Party

I've wanted to have a Halloween party for years  now. I didn't want a bunch of drinking and I just don't have the resources to have a vintage Halloween party like I'd like to. I decided to do a pumpkin carving party instead!

I set up a venison chili bar with baked potatoes, hot dogs, chips, deserts, hot apple cider and a pumpkin beer bowl! I bought a huge pumpkin and carved out one side, the other side was flat. We filled it with ice and dropped in some bottles Sam Adams October fest. I love that one, I hate beet in general.. but I can actually drink Sam Adams!

I had 12 good friends and coworkers (the husbands didn't carve anything...) over and we all carved pumpkins.
