Bedroom facelift

Got tired of the Red/Orange wall and the flat white paint that seemed to become dirty without anything ever touching it, I really hate white walls, must add color!! ..Plus the chaos from the room not being clean and complete was driving me nuts!
Still need to find my wall art and touch up the mistakes on the ceiling...but it's a huge improvement!
The paint colors I chose were Mossy Rock and Corn Husk Green from Home Depot. Not sure which line of paint colors...

As I was painting the wall between closet and room door, I noticed some peeling paint. So, I started to peel at it and am glad I did! I found 50-100 yr old wall paper underneath! I slapped on a coat of polyurethane and finished painting up to the edges of the hole I made.  I did end up hanging my prized yard sale find poster on that wall, but the wall paper peaks out around so charmingly. :) I'm happy. I don't even like pink! You can see two spots of wall patch...I sanded those off best I could without further damaging the print.  The framed poster hides these bits.

Finished!

I have since purchased more curtain hanger clips. They aren't so droopy anymore.

(Fabric room colors were based off of. I have recently turned this piece into curtains for the room!)

Details: My jewelry corner mirrors. Just for looks. I'm far too short to use them. I like to hang my overly dramatic necklaces I don't wear, up with them.   Also made my own curtain pull backs. The walls are straight brick after a thin layer of plaster...so I custom painted some wood to help the hooks stay in place.  I even decided to paint the doors and other accent pieces! Spice up the room even more. :) The purple door is less red in person
